Almonds and Brussels Sprouts

What You'll Need:

1 lb Brussels sprouts, washed and cut in half
½ cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 tsp butter
½ cup vegetable broth (or chicken broth if preferred)

Preparation:

Add Brussels sprouts and vegetable broth to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Quickly reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer for about 6 minutes until tender. Add sliced almonds and butter and mix well. Serve immediately.
