There is a woman who constantly watches comedies on TV. Why? It makes her feel good, makes her laugh, and laughter keeps her positive. She ignores negativity and will not allow it to become part of her vocabulary.
Undoubtedly, you may know someone like this who consistently surrounds herself with positive vibes. Additionally, you may know a lot of people with whom you love to be around because they are so bubbly and full of life. Simply put, they make you feel good.
Being with people who are constantly negative can take its toll. For example, a co-worker complains all the time about work, family, and colleagues. He may never have a kind word to say to anyone or about anyone. The people who work with him grow tired of the ranting and try to distance themselves from him. They become tired and worn out by all of the negativity.
Conversely, you may work with someone or have a friend who is funny, has a great outlook on life, and someone you just lifts your spirits and makes you as happy as she.
In fact, what is so wonderful about being with a person like this is you begin to develop their attitude about life and situations.
No one wants to be around someone who has nothing good to say. On the flip side, most everyone enjoys a person who is happy, caring, joyful, and exudes a confidence negative people lack.
Life is made up of all kids of people; the good, the bad, and in-betweens. The in-betweens are those who simply exist. Yes, they may laugh once in a blue moon, but they simply sit back and watch the world go by, mostly content with themselves and have no need for friendships.
Surround Yourself with Positive People and your life will change. Your vocabulary will change; your wardrobe and make-up will change. Change is good for the soul. Remember the old saying, “Laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you cry alone.”
